Outward Bound Canada Kili 2012 Climb- First Day on the Mountain

Woohoo- we are on way to the Machame Gate to start our climb. All in good spirits, feeling fit. The three of us who had our luggage delayed were successful in picking up our luggage last night at the airport. Today we will ascend 4000 ft through the cloud forest to our first camp at Machame Hut, sleeping at 10,000ft. These pictures are taken at the start of the climb, at the national park gate.
